They leave plenty of room for the people to open up there car doors and not hit them. These <a href="http://products.construction.com/Manufacturer/Canterbury-International-NST1560/products/Bollards-NST208-P" rel="nofollow">bollards</a> were installed for pedestrian safety. So hopefully people will understand. Take a look at my employer's site, McGraw-Hill Construction.
